Winning Moves is a unique summer experience where teens sharpen their problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills through immersive board game challenges.

Each day blends structured skill-building sessions with engaging gameplay, ensuring participants not only learn but also apply these skills in real-time. In a supportive, small-group setting, they’ll build confidence, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities in a fun and interactive environment.

Program Highlights

🀝Small Cohort, Big Impact: At most 12 participants for a personalized, engaging experience.

🎲 Skill-Building Through Play: Develop critical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability through top board games like Catan, Pandemic, and Codenames. 

πŸ“΅ Screen-Free Time: A fun way for teens to connect with others, away from devices. (They may also learn new games they can enjoy with friends outside the program, creating a lifelong source of entertainment)Β 

🌟 Real-Life Lessons: Daily skills workshops turn game strategies into real-world success insights. They will gain awareness of their strengths, practice managing frustrations while winning and losing with grace.

πŸ† Final Day Game Olympics: Participants show off their skills in a fun, friendly competition and have a chance to win real prizes!

Our program includes a variety of popular board games that teens are likely to encounter in school, college, and social settings.

Each game focuses on different skills:

  • Monopoly (Financial literacy & negotiation)

  • Catan (Resource management & strategic planning)

  • Pandemic (Cooperation & crisis management)

  • Codenames (Communication & deduction)

  • Risk (Long-term strategy & adaptability)

  • Splendor (Investment & decision-making)

  • Ticket to Ride (Route planning & tactical thinking)

  • 7 Wonders (Civilization building & resource management)

  • The Resistance (Social deduction & persuasion)

  • Dixit (Creative thinking & storytelling)

  • The Mind (Focus, teamwork & non-verbal communication)

  • Just One (Creative thinking & collaborative problem-solving)

  • Pictionary (Visual communication & quick thinking)

The games we incorporate may change based on group dynamics and session focus. We may also use other games not included on this list.
